The late William “Bill” Costerton, Ph.D. is widely recognized as “The Father of Biofilms." He held many positions, notably as the Director of Biofilm Research Center for Genomic Sciences, Allegheny-Singer Research Institute; and Director, Microbial Research, Department of Orthopaedics, Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA.
“Randy” Wolcott, M.D. is the Medical Director at Southwest Regional Woundcare Center in Lubbock, Texas.
